Karaksa Hotel Grande Shin-osaka Tower

Stayed one night in a high floor premier twin room. Very nice modern room with great facilities and amenities. Loved the view and wide selection of coffees in room. The free drinks floor for patrons was a really nice touch. And the public bath was very enjoyable. Although quite busy as its popular, we had to go super early to get some quite down time.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We stayed there for 4 nights, and although the bathroom and bedroom was quite small, the service was impeccable. They would clean the rooms and give us water bottles everyday and you can request them to change the bed sheets too! It is a 5 minute walk from the closest subway station and less than a minute walk from Shin-Osaka station which was helpful! I really appreciated the free shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well as a air freshener spray 😊

We booked a High Floor Royal Grande Room because it came with a washer/dryer which was so helpful for the six days we were based in Osaka. The room is huge especially when there was only two of us but it was wonderful to have that space after massive days of sightseeing. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the toilet is separate from the bathroom which was good. The hotel itself is a little bit of a walk from Shin-Osaka station but nothing unreasonable. We had breakfast at the hotel two of the mornings and the selection was good, plenty of options to choose from.

I came to this hotel in February 2024 and stayed there for 3 nights, the hotel is very close to Shin-Osaka station, few minutes walk to reach sta but it's ok. I stayed at the high floor grande room with tatami. My room is equipped with private washing machine, refrigerator and microwave. So it is pretty convenient for me (family with 3 kids). The breakfast varieties in food is so many and it changes everyday. altough I hope some improvement is that, I make reservation for 2 single beds and 2 futon beds. However, the futon beds wasn't ready to set when I arrived. So I need to ask their staff to prepare the futon beds for our family. And also, when I ask the room to be cleaned, they only added amenities and change towel and pajamas, but not making the bed, or take out trash, or wipe the floor. I thought, if you asked for make up room, then those things will be done. But not in this hotel. So if you are looking for hygiene, I am not really suggesting this hotel.

We stayed here twice during our entire 8 days in the Kansai region. The first time we had a complimentary upgrade and the room was super spacious with great amenities. Our second stay, however, despite having booked the high floor superior double room, the room was echoey and the air-conditioning unit could only be adjusted to 22 Celsius lowest. Still a pleasant stay but just wasn’t as great as the first room we had, the echoing was really pretty bad. Service wise, it was absolutely wonderful. Special thanks to all the lovely staffs who helped to make both our stays a pleasant one.
